More than 400 young people attended a career fair hosted by the French NGO, Pour Un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE), which has a long history of helping disadvantaged young people.
The fair, which was attended by 77 companies, including the HR Team from BRED Bank Cambodia, gave the students a great opportunity to connect with potential employers offering internships and real job opportunities.
“We were delighted to be involved in this excellent initiative,” said Rath Amara SAR, BRED’s Head of HR. “Many of the students are interested in following a career in the financial services sector and we’re able to offer excellent job opportunities to the right candidates.”
The BRED Bank team signed up a number of potential candidates at the event and will now organise formal interviews before offering positions to suitably qualified individuals.
“The careers fair is another great example of the very valuable work that PSE does in Cambodia,” said Rath Amara SAR. “We’re delighted to have been part of it and also to deliver valuable work experience and real job opportunities to young people who have worked hard to turn their lives around.”
