On Wednesday 21 May 2025, BRED Bank’s head office hosted a health workshop presented by a team of specialists from Advance European Medicare Services (AEMC) to help staff tackle two of the biggest health challenges faced by Cambodians today: diabetes and stress.
With more than 40 members of staff in attendance, the AEMC team discussed strategies for diabetes prevention, stress management and mental well-being at work while also fielding questions from the audience and offering staff the chance to experience trials of Osteopathy and Acupuncture.
AEMC is one of Phnom Penh’s top medical practices, offering a broad range of GP and specialist medical services from Khmer and European physicians. Through an agreement with the bank, AEMC offers discounted rates to BRED customers as well as to the bank’s staff and their families.
“Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important for us all,” said Rath Amara SAR, BRED’s Head of HR. “We’re delighted to be able to work closely with our partners at AEMC not just to offer discounted medical care but also to provide essential information and support that can help our staff to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.”
