BRED Bank and Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation Sign MoU to Facilitate Charitable Donations for Children’s Healthcare
BRED Bank Cambodia is delighted to announce the launch of Cash Deposit Machines, marking a new era of convenience and efficiency for our customers. As the only European bank in Cambodia, we are committed to bringing world-class banking Phnom Penh, 28 August 2025, BRED Bank (Cambodia) Plc. and the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable accessible, secure donations to the Foundation through BRED Bank’s branch network and digital channels, strengthening nationwide support for children’s healthcare.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Chan Narith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Executive Director of the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation.
The event was chaired by Mr. Nicolas Hollanders, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BRED Bank Cambodia, and was attended by members of BRED Bank’s Executive Committee; the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Cyril Girot, and its Executive Director, Mr. Charles Julliard; and EuroCham Cambodia, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Gabriele Faja, and its Executive Director, Mr. Martin Brisson.
The new partnership with the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation underscores BRED Bank’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments by supporting community resilience through social initiatives and advancing inclusion with secure, user‑friendly donation options.
To foster this partnership, BRED Bank facilitates donations to the Foundation via QR payments at all BRED Bank branches and through BRED’s digital and social channels, has made a corporate donation to support children’s healthcare, and will work to establish a safe, fast channel between France and Cambodia to help the Foundation collect donations in France.
